What the Clintons did to America (poem)

First, they betrayed the Muslims¹, and I did not object because I was, at least nominally, a Christian.

Then they betrayed organized labor², and I did not object because I was a university-educated professional.

Then they betrayed African-Americans³, and I did not object because I was white.

Then they betrayed the poor⁴, and I did not object because I was middle-class.

Then they betrayed the Christian professional white middle-class⁵, and all I could do was watch them and their 1% friends laugh as they kept thinking about tomorrow.

¹ In the 1992, Slick Willy promised to intervene in the Balkans to stop the ongoing slaughter of Bosnian Muslims, then reneged after the election, which, in addition to his thrice-weekly bombing of Iraq, influenced the rise of Al Qaida.

²  The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), whose mutant step-children, TPP and TTIP, Obama has been pushing for the world to adopt and finished enslaving the world under the absolute despotism of “the market”.

³   The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, the campaign for which included dog-whistle racism that would have embarrassed George Wallace, though not the mentor by proxy of the Goldwater Girl, who played a major part.

⁴  The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act of 1996, the campaign of which again included some of the most embarrassing dog-whistle racism of the late 20^th century.  This law destroyed “welfare as we know it”, enshrined the values of Ayn Rand in American law and Democratic Party culture, and obliterated nearly all the Great Society and much of the New Deal.

⁵  The Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999 which repealed the protections of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 that set conditions for the wild, wild west of the economy in the end of the 20^th and early 21^st centuries that brought about the collapse and destruction of much of the middle-class was one of Slick willy’s most prized achievements.

It could have been even worse.

Slick Willy was conspiring with Newt Gingrich to privatize both Social Security and Medicare, but that was aborted by the Monika Lewinsky scandal.

Slick Willy’s last attempt at screwing the middle-class, and poor people, severely restricting the ability of human citizens to obtain bankruptcy protection, was halted by the Goldwater Girl in 2000 when she was campaigning for her carpet-bagged Senate seat, because the publicity would not have been good for the campaign.  Less than a year later, she flipped and voted in favor of it, so when Slick Hillary takes a position, start a betting pool for how soon she will change.  She was absent when the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act, virtually the same as Slick Willy’s version, passed in 2005.
