Today Is A Good Day To Die (poem)

Don't fear the Reaper they say?
This I reply: let the Reaper fear ME!
He has no escape, and his time is sure to come
For my death is inevitable, as it is to us all
And when at last I leave my body
But to face me he will have no choice
When with targe on my arm
And claymore in my hands
I come, not cowering in terror,
But charging over the threshhold
Ready to do battle
Like the warriors of old
Naked as the day I was born
Screaming out my cry of war
With my teeth bared and fire in my eyes
Sword overhead, ready to destroy
That which has destroyed me

Yea, though I walk

Through the valley
Of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil
For I am become Death
Destroyer of worlds
And Slayer of men
